analemma across the latitudes

Analemma, the pattern traced by the (solar) noon sun through the year, makes a figure-8.  That figure-8 gets squished and rotated as you move from the pole to the equator.


This was generated using a few lines of python, the pyephem package, and matplotlib.  The altitude and azimuth of the sun was calculated each day for a year at each latitude.
